The overwhelming and heartening theme, in many long and generous stories, was about the element of kismet and the soul connection, even with horses who, on the surface, did not look promising. On Friday I, by kismet (she was training w/ my trainer's partner that day) reconnected with an endurance rider who has her horse in a big pasture only minutes from my home. And where there's room for more. (Not having horse property and not wanting to leave the ranch where I've ridden and leased the last 5 years has been a confounding factor). So I am optimistic that it will all work out when my dream horse finds me! (...grey, <14.99hh, done some 50s and a 100, sane and brave, w/ soulful eyes...or...????)
