RE: [RC] [RC] Picky horses and no t.v??? - Daniela DesiletsWell,I DO have ONE television channel. No DVD player and the local vid place only has DVD's. I like movies so I will likely get one eventually. I did splurge and get satellite radio though. :-) However, it is WAY less expensive than tv. I don't care much for tv (which is why I don't have satellite or cable) but love to read and listen to music, and read a few BB's on the net. That's more than enough entertainment for me besides work and the barn. Those are usually entertaining enough. As to your mare and feeding, talk to an equine nutritionist. I live wayyyyy up in northern Ontario (Kapuskasing area) and was able to get a balanced ration put together by a nutritionist based on my horse's age and work. I am sure a nutritionist can suggest different options to help you keep her feed balanced AND find something your mare likes. And actually I have a t.v and DVD player so in the winter we can watch video's but no t.v channels.
