I haven't kept all my ride cards like Angie. But the few I checks the 
arrival times and P&R times at the finish are not recorded on the sample 
I checked. Reason is the timer has them and that is all that is 
important. So I really don't know. I wonder where Bruce is getting all 
his wonderful data.

The longest I have taken to come down is at the Big South Fork - every 
time I've ridden. I finish, get off loosen the girth and start the mile 
walk in on foot. I might take a few minutes to let the horse graze 
before we start in - isn't that "taking care of your horse?" I make my 
way in the mile or so - giving way to any trail rider I might see. By 
the time I get to camp, go to my trailer and drop the saddle (so I don't 
have to lug it around) and walk into the vet - it's between 30 and 40 
minutes I suspect. Guess I can't do that any more.

I'll have to skip the grazing and trot in - "is that taking care of your 
horse?" I don't think so I'll just take the DQ. My horse is more 
important than a competition prize any day.
