Geez, 15% is AWESOME fuel savings!  Good stuff....  Say I burned about 40 
gallons of diesel on my way to Biltmore and back last weekend... 15% of that 
is about 6 gallons... that's about $20 in my pocket that I could have used 
to buy 4 more doses of electrolyte, etc.!  Not a bad dividend for a "short" 
weekend trip.

I guess the question in my mind is how much does this tech add to the cost 
of a new Ram diesel?  I'll check out the article for details... a brief scan 
and my thought is I LOVE the idea of having a portable generator under the 
hood!  :-)  Maybe it'll be quieter than that el cheapo genset I just bought. 
:-)

Not sure how old the article is, as it quotes 325hp, 600 ft-lbs--that is 
less than Dodge offered in 2006 when I bought my diesel Ram.  Will be 
interesting to see what they/Ford/GM offer with regard to these hybrid 
trucks today.
