I am also curious about these saddles. Please share your thoughts on 
them> good and bad.

I did a ride in one a *long* time ago. The poleys in front tapped my
thighs every time I posted until they were bruised black & blue. Too
confining!  I have seen some models that seemed more open though.

The one we had was imported from Australia and supposedly their horses
tended to be more narrow. We were rookie endurance riders and put it on
our Appaloosas knowing nothing about saddle fit. Both hated it. One got
where he wouldn't go uphill at all, would half rear and spin.  That was
about 1988 so things may have changed a lot since then.
