But! Untill we come up with something
else to do, it is something you can do now (biofuels) and with very little
alteration, if any, of your current vehicle! It doesn’t have to be the end
all, be all. But, we can do it NOW and continue working on many different
alternatives. And, it’s not something that you’re going to be purchasing a
special vehicle for. So, if we need to switch directions, there is nothing
lost.

Not so fast with ethanol, other biofuels Biofuels like ethanol can
help reduce global warming and create jobs for the rural poor, but the benefits
may be offset by serious environmental problems and increased food prices for
the hungry, the United Nations concluded Tuesday in its first major report on
bioenergy.
Though I
like the idea of using a renewable energy source, this just shows that there is
not going to be an easy, single solution to the energy problem.
