RE: [RC] Clippers - geckogal85@xxxxxxxxx

I use a #10 with a blade guide. I go with the grain of the hair. I never clip whiskers.

I have never clipped a horse other then face and lower legs, (before I owned Mustangs). But I have over 20+yrs as a dog groomer. I am wondering what size blade you all use and are you going with  the growth of the hair or against?
I have wore out many Oster clippers , but my favorite of all time has always been my Sunbeam. I am almost sure they don't make them anymore (I never see them anyway).
I was thinking of trying to clip my mustang for early rides this year, but health reasons have stopped me from doing much riding lately (pass 6 months). I do blanket her heavier to help with the hair growth in winter, seems to help.

How many of you clip your horses? I do light maintenance like feet, etc. What type of clippers do you use? I have a wahl pro series. It is very inexpensive and works well.
