Re: [RC] No Frills! No tractor pull this year.. ;-) - Chrystal Woodhouse

After a 14 hour drive down to the No Frills from Canada I have to admit that I was very disappointed to find out that Virginia get snow as well!:-( What happened to going down SOUTH, don't we always hear/read that Virginia is in the SOUTH????????:-) ;-) ;-)  Actually I was truly thankful that is wasn't hot as my horse does much better in the cold, oh my gosh what a trail!!! As I was quietly going down that 12 miles of rock the lady in front of me said " this is some tough trail" THANK GOODNESS" I replied, "as I was just thinking that if you Virginians don't think this is tough I am NEVER doing a trail you call hard!!:-)"
Well............... who wants to drive all that way to do easy trail???  :-)
For months I have been telling my husband that all I wanted was a completion certificate for the No Frills 55 mile ride for my b-day ( which was the day of the ride and I GOT IT!!!:-) Whoohoo! :-) ;-)And even  better my horse who I was worried about  as she had never seen a mtn before in her life ( although we have been working hard in the arena all winter) handled the whole ride like  a pro, she was in much better shape than me,:-)  I think our ride time was something like 81/2 hours and her final CRI was   60/48 I was/am sooo proud of her!!!:-) ;-)

Jen the website for that photographer is wwwtheviewfromhugh.com

Chrystal :-)
Anyone who wants an AWESOME dinner, a well run/organized ride and incredible service at vet checks ( they provided and "served" all the food for humans and horses :-)) go to the No Frills next April !!:-)
