Now this extinction happened around 10,000 or so years ago. Admittedly a blink in the eye of geology, but quite awhile in human terms.

The reintroduction of horses into North America was definately a result of human action.

I personally agree with the Park Service on this one. The only true native animals in North America were here in 1492.
