I have to agree also. The nature of even an ordinary endurance ride changed for the two (or was it three?) years we offered the regional IAHA championship as part of NRR, where there were money prizes and Sweepstakes incentives.

I had to DQ someone who had done the LD and argued with an official about his daughter's placement on the 50,
