Sadly, it appears to me that some people have been offended
by their own prejudices. It reminds me of the discussion with my husband the
other night about doing what is moral and legal or having to “not”
do something even though was moral and legal, because some people ”might think”
you did it for some other reason. IMHO, if it were done for just & legal
reasons, it didn’t matter what others read into it. My husband felt it
was necessary to withhold from the action if it could be misinterpreted by
someone with a different frame of reference. I don’t think we can live
that way.
