I'm glad to hear from folks that have used it and didn't like it. I might give it a try with Caisson, but only because there is someone at my ranch that has one for her Arab, and I can probably borrow it for a free trial. :) Hers has the flat crossover straps, though, so I will keep that in mind as well.

I tried the "official" bitless bridle on Kaboot. Though he's not a head
tosser, he tossed it with that! The pressure seems to come from
underneath, which sends the nose up to escape it. The directions also
have you make the noseband very tight which made rub marks just from
chewing grass during one ride. I tried it on several of mine, some too
forward, some laid back. All hated it. I did ride someone else's horse in
competition who used it and she did OK in it but with *no* contact. You
could tell she considered it severe.
