[RC] Girth Loops Question - k s swigart

I lost too many girth loops, where I'd unfasten
breastcollar, then when I undid girth to take saddle
off, forgot, and girth loop falls off...

Another way to solve this problem is to NOT unhook the girth loop from
the breast collar before you undo the girth, and just slip the girth
loop (while still attached to the breast collar) off the girth (and
leave it attached to the breast collar).

Since many manufactures MAKE breast collars that have a built in "girth
loop" (i.e. they don't have a snap on them at all just a loop that goes
around the girth), this is hardly a problem. Most english leather
breast collars are made this way....snaps are just....low class, you
know.
