ok! Too far north to feel the tremor (or too busy shopping to notice) ...
I'm at
the Pusak Ekuin (equine park) (they have wireless internet!) things are hopping,
finishing touchs on signs and tents and festival atmosphere. Music piped from
the loud speaker. I met my horse, Chantelle, and took her out on the trail. Very
nice chestnut mare, well behaved and brave on the trail when I went out alone.
She's one of 6 horses just shipped in to Ar Raudah (the Edaran stable
outside of Kuala Lumpur) by Peter Toft (Australia). All six horses are being
ridden by foreign riders (Belgium, Holland, Indonesia, Australia, and I think
Thailand too)..
The
trail will be fairly difficult, it's mostly flat, but quite a bit of roots and
stones, will be interesting night riding!
