One of the reasons I look for a not so short pastern!  I'd be curious what 
Ego's pastern measures out to!  There are some very specific strains that have 
longer pasterns than the others. I can write more on this later but want to get 
outside to the GORGEOUS day we are having here in Placerville, CA.  Was 
supposed to 'rain' today!  I don't see that happening as of yet!  Going out to 
work a couple of horses and use the Bruce Weary Three D's Philosophy!  Woohoo!
