Truman answered the question as I would have. The rule is explicit.

Since the Tevis Haggin Cup is not an AERC award nor is it recognized by AERC in the BC awards listing - the Tevis committee can place additional rules as they wish. One certainly could be that the horse is not eligible to show for the Haggin Cup award.
As a matter of common sense - I can't imagine a rider attempting to show a horse with a metabolic or lameness problem that was treated for the Haggin Cup.


That does not change the AERC completion if the horse were to be treated after the completion even at Tevis.
