[RC] Vetting at the finish - Michael Maul

In response to:"Also, perhaps vets will need to be more flexible about vetting horses through tacked just as they do at some vet checks so riders aren't spending their entire 30 minutes walking backing back and forth from their trailer."

This is a regional preference. In the CT and SW regions - virtually all vet checks at the finish for rides I've to have been with tack still on. Same for checks on the trail.

My personal preference is to vet in immediately after finishing and be able to let my horse know he's done when the tack comes off and he can relax.

Mike
