My horses don't like drinking water out of
black rubber tubs. In the summer heat I can smell a very plastic-type
smell when the water is low in the tub. I noticed the horses weren't
drinking very much. So I changed all the water tubs to galvanized
steel. Much better and the horses drink more. I do put their hay in
the black rubber tubs to keep it off the ground, which is d. g. with
sand.
