[RC] Electrolyte Plus? - Sherman

I have a note in my  ride calendar notebook (aka wishlist) to NEVER use sodium bocarbonate on an endurance horse on any ride day. Can't remember where I got the info, but it must have been a reliable source (Ridecamp vet?) for me to put it in my special book. I think it came up recently on ridecamp or maybe I read it in Nancy Loving's "Go the Distance" .

Anyone use Electrolyte Plus made by Equine Gold? It says: Electrolyte =
Plus also contains sodium bicarbonate, which has been shown to help =
prevent tying-up.
