[RC] osteoporosis - Sherman

So, my 15 1/2 yr old son who thinks I should spend more time cooking will just have to put up with my quickie meals while I spend time walk/jogging, mucking stalls, riding, riding, riding, etc! (:>)

Seriously, it does make you wonder which came first, the sedentary lifestyle or osteoporosis that makes older women fearful of being active because they might break a bone. Most (non-riding) women I know close to my age (56) and older, unless they have a specific sport they participate in (and few do) are pretty inactive and spend most of their time doing indoor activities that I just don't have time for. Their houses are clean, they cook great meals, their photos are all in albums, they have time to read LOTS, and they are less & less able to keep up a good pace when they walk, don't even think about a jog.....
