<hand raised> Also solo by choice.  Too often having a partner means your horse isn't training to your schedule; they focus on the other horse rather than on you, making it more difficult for you to regulate speed, pacing, and distance. Unless the other horse is exactly matched to yours it is hard to keep to the schedule you've designed.
 
Rider needs to be a match too, otherwise they can drive you crazy.  Been there, had it happen, won't ever let it again.
