I just wrote a whole bunch of Georgia reps. Here's a site you can go to

> From what I understand, they're trying to own less land so they won't be
responsible for paying for the schools in those areas. Schools are
usually funded with property taxes and by owning a lot of land in a
county the government sort of keeps those school systems from receiving
as much money through property taxes. It sounded as if the government
pays to the systems to make up for it.  Seems to me that by owning more
land, the government would also cut down on the number of kids in the
school anyway, but what do I know?
