[RC] Not true endurance - Jody - Ridecamp Guest

Dear Jody,

I've read your record. I'm impressed. I'm sure your a fine rider. I never
intended to disparage your mother. If you took it that way, I'm sorry. My
mother never rode and never will. She works hard at everyday tasks and has to
endure alot to just get through a day. I'm proud of her.

Endurance and the work someone put in is subject to their and their horse's
individual capabilities. I've seen riders work hard to do a slow 25 and have
something to be proud of. I've seen 50 riders do a hot 50 without working or
breaking a sweat. Pride in ones accomplishment is an individual thing. If you
ever have a chance to see a Special Olympic event, do it. You'll walk away with
tears in your eyes.

My use of the word endurance is not any AERC definition. I don't mean it do be.
I'm not recommending the definition be changed. I use the word in a truer
sense. To struggle for a goal and endure.

My post was not directed at you. It was directed at Strokers who have a need to
put down others accomplishments to inflate their own.

Rob and Annabelle
