Re: [RC] Should I buy new spares? - Sisu West Ranch

"...How important is it for me to use buy new spares in the new size..."

Assuming that you only use the spares to get you to a tire store or home, not at all. Think of all the autos with the tiny toy spares. Their rolling radius is different than the regular tires and they surely don't handle the same, but they do their intended service.

The only vehicle I have that does not have a junker tire as the spare is my one ton. That came with no spare at all, and I needed one quick, so I had to buy a cheap 6 ply one and rim (the other tires are 8 ply). It works fine. It gets me home when I need it.
