Patty, I sent this privately to you and Susan, and only to point out "the rest of the story".? ?It was very heartwarming to me too, until I found out that the owner had disregarded the deadline to have the horses off of that known annual floodplain, and that they were saved in order to be slaughtered later.? I am not anti slaughter but am not too happy with companion animals raised as a "cash crop".
