[RC] Calories Burned While Riding - Sky Ranch

The next time anyone makes a comment to you that "the horse does all the
work" and that horseback riding isn't "real" exercise, refer them to this
chart.

to see the info on horseback riding.  It's interesting to compare with other
forms of exercise.  Also quite interesting is to look at: Farming, baling
hay, cleaning barn!  You know, even grooming a horse will burn a lot of
calories.

Note, heavier riders do burn more calories per hour, in exercise.  There are
*some* benefits to being heavier, after all. <grins>
