Sorry, that is very judgemental, regardless of how you very rarely are.  This horse camps just fine if he can move around.  Just because a horse doesn't like ONE type of containment doesn't mean he can't camp.  Why do you think there's so many methods of containment for horses?

At the risk of sounding judgmental (which I very
rarely am), a horse that can't stand tied without
digging a hole isn't ready to go camping yet, in my
opinion.
