Irving called this morning and sounds chipper and great.? Good meds!? He is sore and his left sciatica is acting up, but otherwise no worse for the wear.? He said it was a nice hospital and that he is getting quite good at rating hospitals!? Right now he is in a big soft chair with a view of Kennedy's Peak but will be heading home to Maine in a day or so.? He will be back on the trail next Spring.? Boiled Owl he is!
