No...that does not "fix" the problem of racing LDs. When we offered an LD, many years ago, we did not recognize placings nor reward them with anything other than completion, but they raced anyway. I would hope that this is not the case nowadays, but I don't know. Anyway, the problems caused were not worth offering the LD ride.

Is it because of the "racing LD's"? Can't that be "fixed" by not awarding first? Optimum time or completions only? Ride managers can handle that on their level - problem solved?
