Or just use a short hose - you can get a flow control ting to attach to the
end you use, so you can only suck once and you can keep the pressure
throughout the ride. Works just like a spigot.

If you can't locate a barrel pump in time, a quick and dirty 
fix is to go to any store that sells plastic tubing, like one 
that has aquariums and fish, etc, get a length of 3/8" to 
1/2" plastic tubing that is a couple of feet longer than the 
distance from the bottom of your pillow, up out the top, over 
the edge of the truck and down to about 6" from the ground.  
When you get to the ride, open pillow, insert tube and suck.  
Not fancy, VERY low tech but it works :)
