Ummmmm....Three Bars was a Thoroughbred.

I don't know all that much about Foundation QH breeding, but I strongly
suspect that the overuse of Three Bars (and his progeny, which includes
Impressive, who had three lines to Three Bars) that the "foundation"
breeders are trying to combat.
