[RC] quarter horse - Diane DayI have to agree with Lysane - we have a Skipper W QH (foundation) who my daughter uses in barrel racing. He is fast and agile - and stocky. We started dressage classes this summer and he was the best at collection of all the horses. Came down on the bit and rounded out like a pro. A lot of the old guard out here in OK disdain the appendix for " too much pollution" of the original blood - Three Bars, Joe.Hancock, Driftwood, King, Skipper W, Poco Bueno. They had heart and soul and body. We also have another QH - an appendix from Dash for Cash - got her also for barrel racing. She has the worst hooves I have ever seen on a horse. Small and very fragile - has a crack that won't fix. If I were looking for a QH - I would only go for foundation bloodlines.I dont know what the original poster was looking for - a horse that would do well in the dressage competitions or a horse that would be able to take to dressage period. I learned this summer how awesome dressage is - for any horse and any rider. DianeD -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
