OT: Re: [RC] Help - John Teeter

Lonnie, I did write back, but looks like it didn't make it. I think I have my 
outgoing email time-out which is set to short for hotmail when it gets busy. as 
mentioned b/f - I'm seeing time-outs in the logs at unpredictable times of the 
day. I'll bump the time-outs and increase the re-try times to see if it can 
overcome the problem. Basically, I'm contacting hotmails mail server, they are 
answering, I'm sending the message and then there is a LONG delay b/f they ack. 
the receipt of the message. I time-out, wait 15 minutes, and try again - that 
happens 5 times. 

Anyway, I'll up the time-out. It may not fix the problem though - I've noticed 
that the large mail systems sometimes use this method to "throttle" the 
incoming mail stream.
