Re: [RC] interesting thing with feed - Kari Hanes

Chris,
We've been feeding Nutrena feeds for about 4 years now and have had great success with it. We have 9 on SafeChoice and 2 on Nutrena Senior mixed with SafeChoice. I have not noticed any of what you are experiencing. In fact my endurance horse just keeps getting better and better. I even give her a handful of SafeChoice in her beet pulp at vet checks. But what works for us may not work for you. Good luck figuring it out - it took us quite a while to find something that would work. The horses were used to a sweet molasses mix when we switched. It took a long time for a couple of our yearlings to eat the SafeChoice (they have quite the sweet tooth). But there has been no energy loss at all in riding/performance, somedays I wish I could figure out how to slow them down a bit!
