[RC] Charlotte and Richard Huston- Dispersal of Racing and Endurance Arabians - g1bass
Florida Arab racing and endurance community lost a
lifetime friend and dedicated breeder and supporter when Richard Huston was
killed in a horse related accident recently. The Huston's helped and competed
against many of the top riders in Florida. Who else on Ridecamp remembers the
early 80s when Dianne Waldron and Char Huston road their horses from Brooksville
to Tampa Bay Downs to showcase the opening of Arab Racing in
Florida.
Char must disperse the horses she spent
decades breeding, these are good legged well bred individuals based on her
foundation bloodlines of Crabbet through Skowronek and her longtime herdsire the
16 hand, *Dobry ( a Hadban Enzahi son imported from Germany), containing many of
the bloodlines being discussed here. Some of the young stock are by Dianne
Waldrons French stallion Ala Croixnoire.
Good Endurance or Racing homes are a must!!!! These
are well bred sound individuals who will excel. My teen age son and I took some
conformation and leg pics so you can see these horses.
Char simply cant do this any longer at her age and
now with Richard gone. These horses are priced very reasonably!!!! and are ready
to start conditioning, NOW.
