YES!  This is a damn good idea.  I don't know what kind of incentive it might
take, but ANY help would probably make it more attractive to me.

Well, just to reveal again just how insane I am ... the very first
ride I managed was a 25/60/100 mile ride!  (The Heart of Dixie)

I got "cute" with the 60-mile awards; I called it a "100 Kilometer"
ride and the awards read "100 km."

BTW, I lost my shirt.  Every 100-mile ride I managed lost money, and
it all came out of my own pocket.  Another factor to look at in why
100-mile rides are declining.
