[RC] Stirring up a Hornet's Nest - Alissa Cowan

Aw, Rob. Sorry about all your hornet stings. Sounds like you are not allergic, fortunately.

When I had nests of yellow jackets in the ground in my yard, my "good old boy" friends would come over in the evening, dump a couple gallons of gasoline down the hole, light a match, and run like crazy. Be sure to do this in the evening when the hornets are not out buzzing around.

It may not be the safest and most effective way, but it DOES make a pretty bonfire in the yard for a while! : ) I was always sure to watch from INSIDE the house...

Alissa

Good part is I got stung mostly in the arms and the swelling makes me look like I've been lifting weights. :-) Bad part is I got stung alot in the belly and the swelling make me look like I've been drinking alot of beer. :-(
Now does anyone know the best way to get rid of a ground hornet nest?
