[RC] HOT shoes - Barb Peck

Linda:
I was referring to your methodology of measuring the temperature ,
not whether it's better to be shod or not.
Barb

The reason I cared when I read Linda's original post was
because it was mis-leading information regarding the shoe vs
the bare foot.
Barb

LINDA replied
I was careful to note that the bare foot had recently been bevelled, and
that the shod foot was tightly attached to a shoe, so it shouldn't have been
misleading. It should have been obvious to anyone why the bare foot wasn't
absorbing as much heat at the shod foot. I wasn't attempting to do anything
other than relay information. I honestly don't care if you shoe or go
barefoot! That wasn't the point.
