Well, that's pretty scary!  Out west here in Wyoming, both my farrier and
vet thought it was just cause by our severe drought and a genetic
tendency.  Any one else want to jump in with thoughts before I haul her to
the vet to be x-rayed.  She is only sore when the false sole has not been
cut out.  Cindy
