[RC] leather tack - AprilIs it only poor quality leather that "bleeds" on horses? I had a couple of leather headstalls that bled on my grey horse when he sweated, leaving stripes on his face. I wasn't fond of that look. Just curious, if I got a "good quality" leather headstall, will that not happen?I don't recall where I got one of the headstalls. The other one was given to me. Made from leather scraps on the spot by a kind soul that took pity on me when he saw my horse sporting a hay string braided bridle since I couldn't afford anything better at the time.
