[RC] We will see you all at Tevis - Antuzzi, Char

Title: We will see you all at Tevis

It's getting to be that time of the year, Tevis Time.

I got my rider packet in the mail the other day and I sat and reflected on last years ride. How I climbed up on Sir Galahad early in the wee hours of the morning, made our way to the start and headed out. The sunrise coming up over Squaw, riding through the Granite Chief area, coming into Robinsons Flat, through the canyons. Some where deep in those canyons, meeting Bobbie Pomeroy, who was riding for her sister, how I was riding in honor of a family member dying of cancer. The two of us, riding deep into the night, sharing stories, crossing a deep river and making our way to take our lap around the track at the fairgrounds. Getting our buckles the next day, wow..... I just can't believe it has been a year.

To all the riders that are returning to Tevis, To all the new riders, attempting their first Tevis take a moment to thank your horse, thank your crew, thank your friends and family. We get all caught up in our ride, but we wouldn't be here with out our loved ones. Take a moment and look at the sunrise coming up, take  in that rugged country you see between your horses ears. This is a tuff ride, we all know that. A lot can go wrong very quickly. I never lose sight of what Gali gives me, each and every time I step up on him and ask him to go down the trail.

I can't wait to see all my old friends, meet new friends and ride with some of you. To all the riders, family and crew, have a safe, fun and successful Tevis 2006.

Good Luck Everyone!
Char and Sir Galahad
