i didn't realize you can replace the heel straps... good to know.  
i used them on my ez boots, too. they seemed a lot easier to pull up over the heel than on the bares.

Dang! The only thing that tears up on my regular easyboots is that the
heel strap breaks and I do need them. They want $6 each for those heel
straps you guys keep talking about cutting out!
