Re: [RC] Tevis Shuttle Request - Sue Walz

I strongly suggest you bring a driver with you! In my experience there are many people just waiting to crew a Tevis rider. Just ask around, family & friends. The person who drives your rig to Foresthill & later to the fairgrounds should be familiar with your rig. Not just any random person! Yes, your rig should be at Foresthill until you pass that check & move on. All pulls before that are brought to Foresthill. If your rig is at the fairgrounds, you'll be sorry! Find a driver you know! And have someone who's willing to camp at Robinson Flat to greet you & crew for you there. Tevis is a ride that you seriously need a good crew to get through!
Trust me, I know! I've got a kick ass crew this year!!!

~Sue & Raven....... Tevis bound with a great crew!

Greetings:

I am registered for Tevis in August later this summer and there is a
reasonable chance that Frank and I will be there at the starting line. I am
looking for someone to drive my rig, Ford van plus horse trailer, from the
campsite near Tahoe to the fairgrounds in Auburn. I do not need any crew
services and all I am seeking is a responsible driver; perhaps someone who
is part of another's crew. Please contact me off-list if you are
interested, or if you know someone who can help, and we can discuss the
details.

Best Regards,
