Re: [RC] Fort Schellbourne - Laney Humphrey

Austin, Eureka and Fernley all have fairgrounds. Austin's is rustic & the town is small; Fernely's is gorgeous. The rule of thumb along route 50 is to fill up whenever you can because it truly is "the lonliest road in the world." You might find I-80 easier.

Hi - We are planning on riding Monday and Tuesday but did not realize Fort
Schellbourne was so far! Does anyone know of a layover spot on US 50
between Auburn, Ca and the ride? We would like to drive home a little
leisurely - thanks!! Pam Bailie
