 Thanks, Truman. I want to assure all my endurance friends that I am 
not on a gaited horse crusade. This is simply something I find myself 
experimenting with at this stage of my endurance career, and I am having 
a lot of fun with it. That is the only reason I do endurance riding. To 
have fun. And maybe to help protect a few horses along the way. This is 
my sixth attempt at Tevis, and I don't own a buckle yet. I am a slow 
learner. So I will need all the luck I can muster.
  Oh, and my wife is helping me shop for a back-up horse. We're looking 
for an Arab this time. I may be a slow learner, but I ain't stupid, ya
