RE: [RC] [RC] Know your Horse - Jennifer Adam

" I think you can know your horse to a point, but he will react differently
to other people."

I think you are abolutely right. I have a gelding who can be pushy and dominant around adults, but around children he is gentle and docile. My mom's 13 year old mare seems to sense exactly what her rider is comfortable with - when a beginner is on her back, she is slow and careful, but when a more confident rider is on her back she is playful and adventurous. I've always been fascinated by different "horse"onalities, but sometimes the interesting thing is how they interact with different people.
