RE: [RC] dog attacks - Jim Holland

Believe it or not, I have done EXACTLY that....Sunny is tolerant of
dogs....unless they are aggressive or in his pasture. He will chase them,
strike them, kick them, stomp them, and thinks its great fun to chase
them....we have done it numerous times at a full gallop....however, it is
hard to "reload" a slingshot at speed! :) Easiest way is to keep the
marbles in your mouth. Dogs don't think it's much fun to be the "aggressee".
<grin> One of our favorite things is to "terrorize" the neighborhood dogs.
Sadly, they give up too easy!

I can't help but get this vision of Jim riding at full gallop with his
reins in his mouth with slingshot drawn and taking dead aim on a fleeing
dog ;-) .

Really? You want to ask the one who tangled with my Whammo slingshot?
After
he woke up, he wanted NOTHING else to do with horses.

Does anyone think a hot shot cattle prod would work on pit bull type dogs?
After reading all the responses regarding dog attacks, it sounds like
nothing short of a gun will stop a pit bull type dog that is intent on
attacking.
