[RC] Horse Slaughter - Sherman

Did you not see this statement? I do think it's horribly inhumane to transport a suffering animal anywhere before slaughtering or euthanizing it. How can that sentiment cause trouble for innocent parties? I don't know what the answer is, but I did like the idea of the local slaughtehouses, rather than the animal having to live in pain while it's being transported around.

"Now, I'm not saying this is the norm at auctions, nor can I vouch for the truth posted on the website, but it does seem a horribly inhumane way to treat any animal."

<DIV class=RTE>New Holland in Lancaster, PA does NOT slaughter the horses. They sell them to killers if no one buys them. They are loaded onto appropriate transport vehicles and taken out. </DIV>

<DIV class=RTE>"I think" statements like the previous post by Sherman - Kathy, can cause a lot of trouble for innocent people.&nbsp;I've seen the "bad" cases at New Holland but that's where they're supposed to go.
