[RC] cannon bone measuerment? - Ridecamp Guest

what about this takes into account the desity of the bone, i've a fine boned 
mare who has very dense bone, so i guess you could do bone density test would 
be of more value than just the distance around?  i wonder and kind of think 
perhaps a thick hoof wall would give some hint as to bone density, a horse may 
have a size 2 hoof but a half inch or less hoof wall wouldn't seem to be very 
suitable.  where a horse with a 6 inch cannon with a 1/2 inch or better hoof 
wall even in a 00 hoof would be sturdier.
