I don't think this is a good forum, but as you mentioned it:  of course climate
change is happening, it has been happening for billions of years and is not
going to stop.  As far as the impact human activity is having on it, and the
nature of that impact, that is very much in doubt.  People who desire massive
increases in government intervention in the world's economies are quick to claim
that Global Warming is proven to be a bad thing caused by human activity, but it
is a far more complex question than that.

I've been around long enough to remember when "they" were telling us that the
earth was probably heading into another ice age, with disastrous consequences
for us humans.  They apparently were wrong then (it was only about 40 years
ago).  Are "they" wrong now?  I don't know, but I sure wouldn't base major
socio/political/economic decisions on it.

Anyone who tells you that it is "proven" or "there is no longer any doubt" that
our CO2 emissions (or any other human activity) are causing adverse climate
change that requires us to take this or that government action, has an agenda.
Keep your salt shaker handy.
